Good morning! After officially releasing my blog yesterday, which got me really excited, I thought I would share one of my favourite breakfast recipes. Over the last couple of years I have experimented a lot with different types of foods that help keep me lean and fuel me with energy, (check out my My Fit Life Journey post if you want to know more about me and my fitness journey). I don’t have a specific diet that I follow, I just eat a high protein diet that excludes refined sugars, fried and processed foods.
This is my detoxifying Acai bowl, see how I make it below. I have this for breakfast or dinner, and sometimes as dessert when I crave ice cream.
Detoxifying Acai Bowl

Gluten-free, paleo and vegan! Packed with nutritious ingredients, which are good for the body and soul.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 tsp acai powder
- 30 g vanilla protein
- 3/4 cup almond milk

Method:
1. Place all ingredients except almond milk in a blender (I use the Magimix for this), and pulse until the mix is finally chopped.
2. Put into ‘auto mode’ and add milk through the chute, blend until creamy and smooth.
3. Empty contents into a bowl and top with whatever your heart desires.
