This recipe is my go-to smoothie, I have this a couple of times a week for breakfast. I love taking it to work in a large mason jar and I sip through it during the morning hours, which makes work a little more bearable.
Green Vanilla Protein Smoothie

A green smoothie packed with many amazing ingredients! An energising way to start the day. Great for a pre or post workout shake!
Ingredients
- 4 slices frozen kiwi
- 1/4 cup frozen mango chunks
- 1/4 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/3 cup baby spinach
- 30 g vanilla protein powder
- 1 tsp greens powder
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 250 ml almond milk
- 200 ml water, add more if you want a thinner consistency
- 3 ice cubes
Method:
1. Start by adding all ingredients except ice to the blender (add the ingredients in the order of the list, so you end up with the powder on the top, which will stop it from sticking to the base, pour the almond milk/water at the end).
2. Blend in mixer and pour into a mason jar/protein shaker, and add ice!
I add ice cubes at work right before I drink mine, we have a crushed ice machine (one lucky girl here). When I have the smoothie at home I don’t add ice, because I am drinking it right away and half the ingredients are frozen so its pretty cold anyway.
Hope you enjoy!
Naturally,
Sweebs xx
