A smoothie is the most versatile meal of all time. They work extremely well for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and are great as snacks.
You can make smoothies with so many different flavours that have different benefits for the body. I love a great berry smoothie with anti-oxidant properties. Hence, adding ingredients like acai powder, raspberries, blueberries and pineapple, is great for that fat burn!
I also always add protein powder to smoothies. This really helps keep you fuller for longer and feeds your muscles, so they can grow and be more defined.
Acai Berry Smoothie

An acai berry smoothie packed with protein and anti-oxidants for fat blasting benefits.
Ingredients
- 1/2 banana
- 4 pineapple chunks (frozen)
- 2 strawberries (frozen)
- 1/2 cup blueberries (frozen)
- 1/2 cup raspberries (frozen)
- 3 ice cubes
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 30g vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbsp acai berry powder
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 1/2 cup water
Method:
- Blend all ingredients in a mixer. I use the nutribullet for smoothies.
- Pour contents into a mason jar or glass and sip away.
