It’s the end of the year!
I cannot believe how quickly 2017 has come and gone. Looking at this year, I thought I would do a “Healthy Breakfast Roundup”, compromised of my 4 favourite breakfasts that are healthy and easy to make, perfect for a lazy brekkie!
I think I have mentioned over and over again that breakfast is the meal that I care most about. In order to start the day with a bang, I need and crave a great meal that I enjoy. I also make sure its something packed with protein, so I am fuller for longer and can smash it at the gym, as I tend to workout around midday on most days.
Here is my ultimate healthy breakfast list (I have linked the dishes to the original recipes)
- Sauteed Mushroom Kale with Poached Eggs and Serrano Ham
- Avocado Egg on Toast
- Green Protein Smoothie Bowl
- Kale Sunny Side Up
I can really say that in 2017 I enjoyed these meals over and over again. I am pretty sure that these will be recurring in 2018. These recipes also clearly show how much I enjoy having eggs for breakfast. I mean eggs are life right?
These breakfast dishes can also be enjoyed for lunch or dinner as well, they are just so versatile. Next year I would love to spend more time experimenting in the kitchen and finding new things to cook. Let’s be real, during the Christmas season I may have enjoyed a few too many cookies and chocolates! Oh well, it’s all about balance…
